Happy 1st!

Happy 1st of January!

Since I have set some big goals for myself this year I will be posting a monthly goal list to 'keep me honest' as Anderson Cooper says on AC360. Yes I am a total geek and news junkie!

This month I plan to:
1. Make a Tablet Keeper for a blog hop (my day is the 5th). Here's the link to the directions http://www.nancyzieman.com/blog/quick-sewing-projects/sew-a-tablet-keeper%e2%80%944-hours-and-done/

2. Quilt the Terrain Stepping Stones quilt and the Red White and Blue quilt

3. Make Tyler's quilt before he goes back to school

4. Make a Valentines table runner with Always and Forever jelly roll

That's it for this month. If you are thinking that it's too much to get done, you may be right, but I will give it a shot. But remember that I don't work so I have lots of time to sew and quilt :)

Plus I will be continuing the Designer Select FQ Club series sponsored by The Fat Quarter Shop and the Nifty Notions Cut For The Cure Ruler Series sponsored by Brewer Sewing.

What are you working on this month?

  6. Have you thought about linking up to the Finish A Long? http://gapquilter.blogspot.com/p/2012-finish-long.html

You are 1/3 of the way there.

  7. I finished the Terrain Stepping Stones top, but I'm waiting to get the yardage for the backing to quilt it.

I used black instead of white for the background on the top.

I love the way it turned out, so far!

Thanks for the links. I should make a tablet keeper.

    Happy New Year!
